Camels and Needles

Camels and Needles

It’s easier for a camel
To slide through a needle’s eye,
For a serpent to sprout wings and fly,
For a leopard, his spots to alter,
For a pig to hallow an altar,
Than for a rich man
Than for any man,
To enter heaven’s gate.

But the leonine Lamb,
Who is the great I Am,
Can, has, and will do
The impossible for you.

  1. Nice. The children… My first graders teach me so much if I listen. My own children are silent at this stage. But you words evoke memories. Bittersweet….

  2. Thank you, Barb, yes they do. Children are our greatest teachers.
